1. Overview
This policy explains what Optimus Data Lab, Inc. collects when you use Brain Teams and how we handle it.
2. What we collect
Account data (work email, name); billing data handled by our payment processor (we do not store card numbers); the distilled memories your team chooses to sync (title, content, type, project, author, timestamps, embeddings); usage and audit data (searches, memory operations) to run the service and power the knowledge-health view.
3. What we do NOT collect
Your raw conversation transcripts and source code never leave the author's machine by design. Only distilled memories that a member syncs reach our servers. Memories flagged private are never uploaded.
4. How we use data
To provide and secure the service, power team search and knowledge-health, process billing, and communicate about the service.
5. Subprocessors
Amazon Web Services (hosting), Stripe (payments), and our email provider (transactional email). Each processes data only to provide their function.
6. Data location and retention
Data is stored in AWS (United States). We keep your memories until you retract them or close the workspace, after which they are deleted.
7. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, strict per-organization isolation, and server-side rejection of detectable secrets.
8. Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your data; retract removes a memory for everyone. Contact us to exercise these rights.
